Presenting a monster Yamaha vintage integrated amp from their glory years - circa 1976. Japanese version of the CA-1010, featuring the pure class A operating mode. It’s in almost mint condition, a few small marks in the wood veneer top. The faceplate and knobs are scratch and dent free, could just use a really thorough detail for a very fussy owner.

I can’t begin to say how good this amp sounds. It has an iron grip on the speakers, powerful and refined in equal measure. No wonder they were a best seller in Japan. A work of art in industrial design with the clean panel, solid switch gear and blonde wood case. You can see this amp was a big part of the inspiration for Yamaha's recent revival of 2ch electronics. It's an icon.

Has had a basic service of switches, pots and checked over - nothing to report. All original.
