Willsenton R8 Tube Integrated Amp

Likely the most discussed piece of kit in SNA history.  The owners forum is a worldwide discussion offering a ton of knowledge and support for anyone interested in almost anything R8. Multiple positive reviews from the usual YouTube suspects as well as many video clips concerning tube choices, modifications and upgrades.

Having replaced a Vincent sv 237, it offered more of everything I liked about the Vincent. More weight, more separation of instruments and a sound stage depth I'd never experienced before.

230v model purchased from China HiFi in June 2021.

Comes with matched Tung Sol preamp tubes (reissues) and four matched Tung Sol 6550 platinum reissues with no more than 200 hours. Will also include four matched Tung Sol el 34 reissues with about 500 hours. Anyone that's bought tubes lately knows how much extra value this adds to the sale.

I would ask the purchaser to arrange their own shipping. I'm happy to coordinate with your choice of vendor to ensure a smooth delivery and have done this multiple times with purchasers of other larger items I've sold.

Comes with metal remote, tube cage and original packaging. I do not have the Willsenton tubes provided with the amp.

Advancing age and compromised hearing make desktop near field and headphone listening a better option at this point and it's getting a bit much trying to muscle a 30 kilo amp and 25 kilo floorstanders(soon to be listed)into place for a listening session.
