This is a Delrin-Aluminium replacement platter for the Rega P8 made by TNG Spinner. It is very well made, and is designed to replace the existing platter. It also removes the need for the felt mat, or any other kind of mat.
The effect of the platter is quite significant - it does lower the noise floor, provides more detail and depth, and sounds subjectively louder. Bass is also tighter and deeper. And it removes the static associated with the felt mat. However, the TNG platter does change the tonal balance slightly towards neutrality, and I find that I prefer the tonality of the original Rega platter.
The platter is in excellent condition, delivered last week, and comes with original packaging.

Pick up is available, or I am happy to post at the buyer's cost and risk. Postage will be $20 anywhere in Australia for standard post.
Please note that the platter is for the Rega P8 only, and will not fit on other Rega turntables.
