I'm selling an OPENHEART (China) custom headphone cable constructed for Meze 99 Classic/99 Noir/99 Neo/109 Pro/Liric. I used this cable with a set of Meze 109 Pro that I sold here a few months ago.
The cable itself is 16 cores of silver-plated copper (304 individual strands) in a dark grey/brown colour.
It has a 6.35mm gold-plated finger-grip-style plug on the amp end, and 2 x long-barrel 3.5mm mono plugs on the other end. It's VERY soft and flexible (just what you want/need from a headphone cable).
About the manufacturer...
OPENHEART is based in China. They make all sorts of custom headphone cables, which are available for sale on Ali Express. I ordered this one because I was not impressed by the standard cable on my Meze 109 Pros. This cable was certainly more comfortable to wear (more flexible), and did not transmit any mechanical noise to the headphones. When I bought new headphones (FiiO FT7), I encountered the same problem: stiff and mechanically noisy standard cable. A new cable from OPENHEART fixed the problems...
Regarding price: there's no actual RRP for this cable. If you order a new one today from Ali Express, it'll cost around AUD75 landed and delivered. I checked.
