Description

These may well be the only pair of Living Sounds Audio (LSA) ‘Statement 100’ speakers in Oz, as I specially imported them about 18  months ago.

I was looking for a delicious stand-mount that would play DEEP.   And these do…. To 32Hz in room +-3db!      They also sound as balanced and delicious as they look!

Flawless mahogany finish, and pretty much flawless sound.  Quote from Review:

I thought their rosewood cabinets looked gorgeous. But it was their sonic performance that grabbed me. They delivered prodigious bass from that front-mounted midrange-woofer and rear-mounted passive radiator, and the ribbon tweeter put out some of the sweetest highs this side of heaven.      there was no need for a sub with the Statement 100s in my room, and I never found their highs fatiguing. I won’t say they disappeared, but they came close. They are very impressive speakers and if they’re in your price range, it behoves you to get your own chance to listen to them. They’re that good!

“The Statement 100’s styling befits its status as LSA’s top-of-the-line speaker. Its high-gloss rosewood enclosure curves gracefully outward. The Statement 100 measures 16″H × 14.25″D and weighs 26 pounds. The front baffle is 8″ wide, but the enclosure measures 9.5″ at its widest point. The driver complement comprises a ribbon tweeter and 6.5″ high-excursion metal-cone midrange-woofer supplemented by a rear-mounted 5″W × 7″H passive radiator. The midrange-woofer features an XBL2 motor, which is said to provide consistent flux density through a long voice-coil gap, resulting in reduced distortion. The driver is designed and manufactured exclusively for LSA.”

I have the single large box, but it may need a courier as they weigh in at about 27kgs. They also come with plain black magnetic grills, but WHY would you cover that Rosewood!!

I paid around A$3,500 and around $700 to import, them so all up new 18 months back they were $4,400.
They have only played about 100 hours, so essentially almost new.

I am only moving them on as I built some large single-driver open baffles, and I have run out of room upstairs!    I guess these are going to be easier to sell than my (somewhat
