The DS6 THX® Dipole is a dedicated Home Cinema monitor created by B&W for creating optimum surround sound effects. The most important difference between this monitor and a standard rear channel speaker is the diffuse nature of its sound. This is achieved by placing 80mm (3in) mid-range and high-frequency drivers on opposing axes with opposite polarity. The effect is to non-localise the sound - the sound you hear won't appear to come from the monitors but rather from the listening environment.
They can be change easily from bi-pole to single pole by flick of the switch. So they can be use as normal on wall speakers as in my movie room, doing side and back surround duty.
I don't have original boxes but can pack them properly for post. Or buyer can arrange pack and send. They are heavy and bulky so postage won't be cheap.
