For sale is a pair of ART (Applied Research and Technology) SLM1 Studio Linear Monitors designed and made in Canada.
They are in very good condition with a few surface scratches and some minor lifting of the veneer on the rear edges, but they present very nicely.
They sound great, digging quite deeply for speakers of this size, and they have a nice balanced presentation with excellent treble extension. They are also quite efficient for speakers of this size.
I used these as studio monitor speakers but they are equally at home as high-quality hi-fi and general music listening speakers. Very hard to beat at this price!
It is proving to be increasingly difficult to find passive studio monitors these days.
