Rare, vintage Audio Dynamics Corporation ADC-1 Pickup – their very first model circa 1961.
Original box, working, excellent condition.
Been in my collection so long I can’t recall how I came by it some 30 years ago.
I’ve used it exactly twice – once back in the day to see if it worked, once recently whilst testing a turntable for sale. It appears to work perfectly, has a rich, pleasant tone.
A standard MM phono preamp or amplifier input is required.
There simply can’t be too many of these 65+ year-old artifacts, in such good condition, to be found.
IMO, it deserves to be in a historical or enthusiast’s collection.
