Excellent version of this rare turntable with Fidelity Research FR-24 Mk 2 tonearm in very good condition with all 3 weights in a nice wooden plinth with original tonearm cable and FR headshell.
I have enjoyed this turntable a lot over the last 9 months or so and used it with a very old Kondo AN Io cartridge, a Nagaoka NM 11A and an Ortofon Classic N SPU.
Dead quiet and steady motor just like an SP10, just not as well known ( at least outside of Japan).
The real surprise was the FR-24 arm though. I thought of it as a more medium weight arm for higher compliance cartridges but no, while this is not a FR-64, it is very suitable for low compliance cartridges like SPU’s and sounds fantastic.
The timber of the plinth is in good condition and the cover shows little signs of age and cleaning but overall in very good and undamaged condition. I have added some Audio Technica feet and if you are interested in a cartridge, there are a few options.
This is a Japanese voltage turntable and needs a step down transformer. I you need one, we can haggle
