These are terrific speakers which I originally bought for my daughter’s home theatre and party room. Now it’s time for someone else to have fun with them. You're getting a lot of speaker for this price.

They were fully serviced and repaired (accidental damage to cones) at The Speaker Hospital in Sydney (new midrange cones and jumpers) several months ago. Note that I never had the plinth bases for either speaker--but never needed them. They have magnetic grilles. There is some ‘stickiness’ on the front surfaces of each speaker which I believe is a common condition over time.

When properly setup in small to medium-sized rooms with components that favor musicality over features, the Monitor 7 is a fantastic all-rounder that competes favorably with others in and around its price class... Put 'em in a room complementary to their size and add an affordable subwoofer and you should be in music and movie heaven for years to come.

Ideally you could pick these up, but I could wrap them nicely for your favourite courier.
