My wonderful, musical speakers that have served me flawlessly for over a decade finally need to make way for the new. I have loved the musical, dynamic, balanced and holographic sound coming out of these speakers, and will always think fondly of these beautiful transducers. If you're on a budget, but would like to get a taste of high-end audio, I can think of no better speakers under $1k to assist you on your audio journey. They make nearly all genres of music sound good.
These speakers, with Maple wood veneer finish, are in excellent condition, with only 1 small scratch apparent to me (rear of 1 of the units). They have been upgraded with improved internal wiring (Kimber 4TC) and upgraded WBT terminals (providing notable sonic improvements). Dynaudio rate them at only 85dB sensitivity, which I think may be a bit conservative, as I have recently been powering them with a (quality) 50W amplifier to proper loud levels (95+dB) with no adverse effects. They have a remarkably solid bottom-end for small bookshelf monitors - I got the best results with a subwoofer though.
I do not have the original packaging, but could securely box and ship these if you like.
For local pick up, I can also throw in a set of Dynaudio Stand 6 speaker stands.
